Message I just wanted to make a post about how impressed I was with the spool up of the twin GT35r. I'm talking about the old-school non-billet gtx wheel 35r. I can't imagine how the billet version would spool, not to mention the power it would make.

I don't know whether it's the 3.2 liters, exhaust manifolds, .63 A/R Tial exhaust housing, or the high stall converter. Maybe the combination of all, those turbos spool up faster than my old 3071 according to my butt-dyno. Just recently, I was in Seb's 3076 car and that felt very responsive, but the 35r feels even more so.

The car makes power with ease; every 4-5 psi it was making 100rwhp. It was incredible. I'm so impressed with those turbos that I'm thinking about getting rid of my precision billet 6262's and getting the gtx version of the 35r.

I'm also extremely impressed with the SpecialtyZ built auto holding up so far.

The modifications to make them fit in the stock location aren't even that bad. All you need is TOMs custom manifolds, an external waste-gate, and notch the fame a little on the passengers side. I would recommend this setup to those that want big power and not a lot of lag. Just be sure to get the anti-surge housings:)

What a monster...
